4Play Sports Bar victim of NHL lockout?
Converting to supper club in new year

Jets fans would gather at 4Play Sports Bar for the electric atmosphere for home games - as well as road games - when the NHL returned to Winnipeg last season.
Although the proprietors will not admit it, 4Play Sports Bar may be the first casualty of the great NHL lockout of 2012-13.
The three-year-old sports-bar extravaganza is closing after New Year's Eve and will convert to a supper club for early spring re-opening.

Pick your over-the-top noun: pandemonium, bedlam, madhouse -- they all fit in describing the atmosphere in restaurants, pubs and bars in and around the MTS Centre at the start of hockey season last year.

Caitlyn Fecyk and Andrew Shefchyk of Boston Pizza have noticed an increase in visits as of late.
RESTAURANT visits are on the rise in Manitoba, and a market research groups says it's part of a national trend that will see visits increase by nearly 10 per cent in Canada over the next five years.
